Insurance for tuning mods Empty Insurance for tuning mods

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that LV insurance do not allow any tuning modifications what-so-ever  Crying or Very sad

I had hoped to start installing goodies like an induction kit, a new exhaust system, engine remap etc., etc.  Smile

I thought I'd better check with LV first to see if it would affect my insurance only to be told that no mods at all are allowed.   Evil or Very Mad

I could just go ahead with the mods, but in the event of an accident/claim etc. I doubt LV would honor the insurance...

Might see about shopping around to find a new insurer - what do fellow V5'ers recommend?

Thanks,

Dobbs.

I'd recommend leaving them now mate lol. I'm with Admiral on a joint insurance with my wife and with all the mods you mention plus more like coilovers, alloy wheels, it is around £550 in total for both cars.
