Cutting out at 90 degrees Empty Cutting out at 90 degrees

Post by Dobbs Fri Feb 28, 2014 7:29 pm

Hi Folks,

My local mechanic is having a problem with a v5 - it starts & runs fine until the coolant temp reaches around 90 degrees when it cuts out - any attempt to use a fault code reader at that point has been unsuccessful and no faults are shown when he restarts it, so it's got him a bit stumped  Crying or Very sad

Any thoughts on what might be the cause?  Question

Many thanks for any suggestions,

Dobbs.  Cool

Turns out it was a problem with the ECU - all was well after the ECU was replaced and the clocks etc. recoded to the new ECU.
